Centreville, AL - An alarming jolt woke people in Central Alabama this morning. It was an earthquake measuring 3.8 magniture and 3.1 miles deep according to the National Weather Service
(web | news) . Some people say their beds were shaking. They say at first they though a tree had fallen, but them the rumble afterwards took them by surprise. Most folks didn't realize it was an earthquake until after the fact. There were no damages or injuries. But, it could be felt weakly for miles around Centreville in Bibb County, it's epi-center.
