Pell City Passes New Sales Tax
For the first four years half of the money will go to help schools and the other half will be paid to the city. At the end of four years the city gets all the revenue. The increase goes into effect in 60 days. It raises the total sales tax in Pell City to ten cents.

Sounds to me as if there is taxation with out a vote. We know what the city wants, but what about the people?
