Birmingham, AL - If weather permits travel to the nation's captal tomorrow, a delegation representing Birmingham's Alabama Aircraft Industries, formerly known as 'Pemco," will be on capitol hill. The company is fighting to save 800 jobs. 90% of its work is 'refurbishing KC135 refueling tankers. However, the government just awarded the entire contract to Boeing. The delegation will meet with Alabama's two U.S. Senators, as well as Congressmen Spencer Bachus and Artur Davis.
