Montgomery, AL - A group of students from Walker County travels to Montgomery, Thursday. They plan to tell state lawmakers they need a new school.
Oakman Elementary was destroyed by a tornado in December 2008. The group will rally on the steps of the state house Thursday morning at 8:30.
Majority Leader Ken Guin and Representative Tommy Sherer are sponsors of the bill, which comes up for a vote at 10a.m.
