Well said Curvygirl and Kaelinda. As I have previously posted, America Is becoming a Legislative Police State, and we are Loosing Our Freedom One Law at a Time. God Bless America - We Need It . . . . Vote Tuesday and Pray that it may make a difference . . . . .

Cited for FAILING TO WATER HER LAWN????????? That's absolutely ABSURD. The fact she made a scene out of it and was arrested I understand. She should have taken her case to court and sued the pants off her HOA or the city. I'm sure this happened at some point during our drought, where if she were take them to court she'd have a no-contest win. Does ANYONE live in a neighborhood where you are REQUIRED to water your lawns??? I've NEVER heard of that.

Keilinda, Ain't it also great that there are drug houses on every corner AND LAW ENFORCEMENT IS PICKING ON ELDERLY WOMEN ABOUT SUCH MENIAL ISSUES AS THIS???? Tax dollars hard at work I tell ya!!!

Ain't it great that in these freedom-loving United States, a 71 year old woman can be arrested for conserving water? Ain't it great that the police are willing to handcuff this old lady, as if she just might get away from them and run? And ain't it great that after putting her through all this turmoil and tragedy, they're going to drop the charges against her simply because she's agreed to go ahead and waster water on a lawn? And they'll STILL get their $100 out of her! Ain't it just great?

There's something wrong with this picture.
