Detectives are looking for two men who were recently seen on surveillance video pulling up to a gas station on Tallapoosa Street in a Ford Crown Victoria. Grainy video shows the men hanging around inside and then leaving.
The men are not wanted for anything that happened in the store. Instead, detectives say the men had just robbed a woman in Fultondale, and authorities believe the suspects are local to Inglenook.
Crime Stoppers needs anyone from the area who can help identify the suspects to offer an anonymous tip on who the men are or where they can be found.
"The two fellas that are seen driving around every day in that black Crown Vic, that's the two people we need their names," Lieutenant Bill Musgrove said.
So look closely at the video attached to this article, and if you think you can help police find the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at (205) 254-7777. Also, you can text 7777 to CRIMES, or you can go to
www.birminghamcrimestoppers.org to submit an encrypted tip online.
No matter which method you choose to submit a tip, you will never be asked for your name. Instead, detectives will assign you a private code number. If your tip leads to an arrest, you can then use the code number to claim a cash reward, and detectives still will not ask for your name.
