Vandiver, AL - Brandy O'Shields say her husband, Chase O'Shields, has not been seen or heard from since Saturday evening. That's when she says he called and said he was on his way home from work at Watson's Grocery. The O'Shields live just two doors away from the store. When he didn't arrive by 9:30 p.m., O'Shields says she went to the store. She says it was locked and her husband was not there. She called Shelby County deputies. Once inside the store, they found the safe open and money missing. The store's manager believe O'Shields took the cash and fled town. Sheriff's investigators do not know what type of case they are working. It could be a theft or someone could have robbed O'Shields as he closing the store on Saturday night.
