But I tell you, go to www.authorsden.com/copout. You'll be amazed somewhat. This guy was a former bad cop, a New Orleans bad cop, who now exposes all of them. I read somewhere on the internet where he outed 5 or 6 of them. All of his stories and articles are about bad cops. I wiiling to forgive a bad cop if he starts turning in bad cops. I know of a lady that attended one of his book signings. He's legit in her opinion. She's a retired state police officer. I eventually bought his book called COP OUT. Man, he reveals all the dirty little secrets of bad cops. It is really bad though when you can't trust cops. Check out the site though. Very interesting
A.C. ROPER, IT IS TIME TO GET OUT THE BROOM, DUSTPAN, AND MAKE A BARRELL FIRE for the trash!!! Otherwise, you're putting the good cops' lives at risk every day!!!! Hint: I.A. or FBI watching them ALL!!! There is a story in the bible about wheats and tares. maybe A.C. and Larry need to read it!!! IF AC DOESN'T DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE DIRTY COPS, HIS NAME IS NO LONGER WORTHY OF SPEAKING. WE HAVE PUT YOU ON A PEDESTAL, NOW DO SOMETHING!!!
This sleaze needs to spend a long time behind bars and he should have to wear a prison suit that reads 'Former Police Officer' all over it. They'd tear him from limb to limb just on general principle if they knew he was once a cop. At least we can hope anyway.
I know not all cops are bad, but this sure isn't helping the image of the BPD. And while statements have been officially made that this is not representative of the Birmingham Police force, it sure does make one think, with that one last year who was accused of rape and had drugs in the pocket of his police uniform shirt....and now this one caught breaking into someone's car, what else is going on that we don't know about?
With the past history of this city as of late, I am more likely to believe that the majority of the police force, along with most of the council, commission and city leaders are as corrupt as they can possibly be. Seems Birmingham is running second only to New Orleans and Nagin's chocolate city of corruption, drugs, lies and stealing, when it comes to crime and corruption within the system.
It's going to take a lot more than an ethics course taught to police officers by Chief AC Roper, to change my opinion.
Come on Chief Roper -- hang this one out to dry. Prove that you're going to clean house and that you won't tolerate this on ANY level.
Is there actually ANY kind of screening process to become a Bham cop or, as it apparently is, you just walk into a precinct house and ask for a uniform, badge, and a gun and they hand it to you.
Maybe I'll become a cop today. If you don't get caught it seems it might be a pretty lucrative business to be in. Right?
Were these two pieces of TRASH wearing their uniforms when they were BREAKING INTO OTHER PEOPLE'S PROPERTY TO STEAL!!!!!!!?????????
They're out on bond and I'd bet money they will be right back on the force within a month. After they play their race cards, and give the "REAL" reasons why they were breaking into this vehicle, etc.
