They all keep a chunk of their findings (legal or not!). You can't tell me a newly recruited officer making 22k won't keep 3 or 4 stack of $100 bills found at a drug seizure.....Who would know! Dirty cops do it all the time!!! And do you really think the drugs confiscated are "burned and destroyed". I think they "reappear" on the streets in efforts to supplement the income that is not being paid by the state.....

The feds question anything that is not directly benefitting them!! But this guy sounds pretty shadey to me!!! Like he sets up the drug deal and sets up the bust also..........ALL FOR THE GLORY!!! Story is fishy too!!! Too bad not many people trust cops anymore.

Yeah. God forbid that someone actually get the task done. As for letting the indentifying officer's city getting a "finder's fee" is only right. Your are right Bama, they are not paid enough.

Agreed, and I say give the officer(s) that identify the truck and/or make the arrest a modest percentage of any money confiscated. We don't pay them enough as it is.

Amazing. So here you've got a guy who GETS IT DONE.....and who REALLY cares how he does it, incentives for money or whatever......if he's getting the dealers and drugs busted and off the streets, LET HIM DO IT and WORK WITH HIM IN ORDER TO DO SO!

A means to get to the bad guys, but yet the Feds don't want to work with him.

No WONDER we can't but a stop to the crime, murder, drugs, etc. in this country.

Idiots too worried about what is PC and "right" ......

I think it's time we start turning our heads to some of the "ethical concerns" and start working to get the bad guys off the streets.
