  • Ashley Brand joined the ABC 33/40 weather team in January, 2007. She's a certified meteorologist with plenty of experience covering tornadoes and hurricanes. She is comfortable reporting live in the field

  • Brenda Ladun anchors the weekday 6:00 and 10:00 News on ABC 33/40 and presents her Matters of Faith stories every week.
  • Bryant Somerville came to ABC 33/40 in 2010 from Huntington, West Virginia.
  • Candace joined ABC 33/40 in August 2011 as a reporter/multi-media journalist. She is part of the news team dedicated to the station's new afternoon news program, Focus @ 4:00.
  • Candace White is a reporter for Good Morning Alabama and a producer.  She spends half her time in front of the camera, bringing you stories you need to know about before heading out the door.  The other half of her time is spent producing and building some of the newscasts you watch every day.

  • Cory McGinnis joined the reporting staff at ABC 33/40 in March.
  • Dave anchors ABC 33/40's 6:00 and 10:00 news.  He has more than four decades of news experience in Central Alabama.
  • Ebony Hall has been with ABC 33/40 since 2004. She started as a reporter in our Tuscaloosa Bureau and later transferred to our Birmingham newsroom. In 2010, Ebony began anchoring the Saturday evening newscasts, and earlier this year she was promoted to co-anchor Good Morning Alabama.
