Brenda, I do not know you personally, nor can I pretend to know the difficulties you face in your battle, but I do know an inspiration when I see it. I have watched you on the local news since you came on Channel 6 and have always watched your newscasts, so you are important to me as a sort of surrogate family member. Just the fact that you are bold in your expression of faith would be enough but the fact that you are bold even in the face of such a wicked sickness is truly God-inspired. May God keep you and heal you and I, and tens of thousands of others, will continue to pray for you..

Brenda, this is the first time I have read your blog, but wanted to say what an amazing and courageous person you are. I was sitting in the waiting room in the cancer center the other day when you came out, all beautiful and smiling, and I have to admit you make me a little ashamed of myself. I too have to begin radiation treatments in a few days (on my hip). I am a little tense about it because I have no idea what to expect (consultation is Thursday). Your comments have eased my mind a little bit and I am sure your situation is much more serious than mine. Keep up your wonderful attitude for all of us.

Glad that you doing good..I was diagnosed with breast cancel in 2001 on the day you had surgery. I have followed you progress since then...I know the Bible verse well...It is one of my favorite ones. God is the author of our lifes and will take the burdens from us so we can deal with others things The best to you and your family for the holidays

Brenda, it was so good to hear from you again, I am very sorry to hear about your toothache, plus having it in the middle of your treatments, but not to my surprise that you would take the time to encourage yourself in the Lord. I know you must make your Heavenly Father proud of you. I pray that this coming week will be a good week for you.

Could you look into the hype behind "The Golden Compass". I know the first amendement is involved in the making of any movie but the public does deserve to know whether this is truly an atheistic movie that children do not need to see of if the mention in many churches of this matter is just hype. It is being compared to "The Chronicles of Narnya" in previews but it is being portrayed in churches as an atheistic, demonistic move that children should not see. However, it is being targeted for children especially under 10. I consider this a "Matter Of Faith" also.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Hopefully you will not be as tired soon. Your life is proof that the promise in Isaiah 40:31 is true. You do continue to run the race of life (even at a fast pace) as you face chemo and radiation and even when you are tired, you do not faint.
