But seriously, the radiation hasn't been bad at all. So far I've had five treatments. The radiologists are friendly, and efficient. They are even making the experience festive. The other day I arrived to see blue and silver Christmas ornaments hanging from the ceiling. They even have aloe plants conveniently placed in the dressing room to help combat any burning that might crop up.
I thank the Lord for providing such a wonderful plant. The goo inside the aloe plant can help heal any type of burn. So far it's been working pretty well. While the fatigue doesn't want to lessen its grip on me, my burning hands have eased and the excessive tearing has stopped for the most part. Some finger tips and toes are still numb but I can still manage. I praise God for dentists to help ease the pain of a hurting tooth.
But all this will pass, while I traveled with my husband Doug to Boulder last weekend, even the my tooth was trying to spoil the fun, I looked up and saw an eagle in the Rocky Mountains. It reminded me of the Bible verse....Isaiah 40:31 you will soar on the wings of eagles, you will run and not grow weary you will walk and not be faint.
I am one of many of your viewers and pray that you will soon recovery. You have always been so informative, even through this site, my memory bank was just rebooted to remember the Aloe plant. I was recently burned in the UVB box after a few treatments. Thanks for the info.
Continue to soar............... "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 -

Your testimony is an inspirational message to all! God Bless you and your family throughout this time of endurance.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Hopefully you will not be as tired soon. Your life is proof that the promise in Isaiah 40:31 is true. You do continue to run the race of life (even at a fast pace) as you face chemo and radiation and even when you are tired, you do not faint.
I will be praying for you as you continue to have treatments. Thanks for letting Him shine through you.
God Bless!
