To make matters even more challenging, the biopsy was in her throat. But a day after the biopsy, she sang beautifully. In fact she sang so well, she landed the lead in the high school play. Kaylee says after her diagnosis, she didn't feel sorry for herself, or focus on the cancer. She focused on the job at hand. Her job was to do her best in trying out for the play. While at home she sang constantly. She practices and practiced. She put her faith and trust in God to handle her medical problems and she put her energy in singing the most beautifuly song she could ever sing.

She knew that a slip of the scalpel could leave her career on indefinit hold. Again she put her trust in God. The surgery went well and she kept the lead role.
During this Easter season, remember this child who trusted God to get her through the scariest time of her life. Just keep singing Kaylee. It reminds us all we have hope no matter what our circumstances.
