    Firefighters Battle Abandoned House Fire in Ensley

    Birmingham, Ala._ An abandoned home caught on fire around 2:15 this morning in Ensley on 24th street. Birmingham Fire Officials say someone lit something on fire in the middle of a room inside the home and then the fire burned through the floor and got under the insulation. The fire damage was contained to the first floor. No one was injured in the fire.
